Hi Robin, Thank you for all the information you sent for the Crew family members at Pleasant Grove. I am not related. I made quite a number of updates & links and added a couple new memorials. I also sent Dot a couple edits asking her to make some links as well.

I do have a couple questions,

Who is Annie Allen Crew? life dates??

Also, the infant thats there, who are thier parents?

James Sims Crew 1882-1940. Do you know where is he buried?

If you would like any of the memorials transfered thats not a problem. or have any additional info you want added Ill be glad to update them.

I can not find an obituary for Elma, but she is probably buried right next to her husband in Lafayette Memorial Cemetery. Hope this helps! Vonna

JAMES W. HORNER: the funeral of James Wesley "Wes" Horner, 61, of 700 Westmont Drive, who died Saturday, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Snyder Memorail Baptist Church, with Dr. James C. Cammack officiating. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. A native of Cumberland Co., he was vice president of Rogers and Breece Funeral Home with which he had been associated since 1936. He attended Wake Forest College and was a graduate of Gupton-Jones School of Mortuary Science, Nashville, Tenn. He was a member of the North Carolina Embalmers and Funeral Directors Association. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elma Hollingsworth Horner; two sons, Jimmy of the home and David E. Horner, U.S. Navy, stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy; two daughers, Mrs. Betty Jo Burgett of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Miss Holly Sue Horner of the home; two sisters, Mrs. A. D. Gore of Raeford and Miss Julia E. Horner of Fayetteville; one brother, J. Gilbert Horner of Hope Mills; a number of nieces and nephews. The family will be at the Rogers and Breece from 7 to 9 p.m. Active Pallbearers will be Joe Bigg, James C. Black, W. H. Maynard, Britt Martin, J. A. Holmes, Scott Kelly, W. R. Erskine, Dr. Duncan S. Owen, Daniel E. Graham and Kermit Weeks.
