RE: Bate & Bass Family
The Bate family are on my maternal grandfather's side - you can find pictures and bios on the Sumner County GenWeb under pictures and bios. If you are interested in Eugenia Patience Bate Bass Bertinatti, you can most likely Google her name and get plenty of info - I have some pics - are you on Facebook? I canpost pics there and do fairly often.
She was the one married to Councl R. Bass, Sr. then to Giuseppe Bertinatti and the reason my gr-gf Sholders wound up in Italy from 1884 -1908.
I really know nothing about the Bass family - Only that Eugenie and her children and perhaps her first husband (CRB, Sr.) are buried in Georgetown,DC I believe - forget name of cemetery - If you have Ancestry, check the new wills and probates for Mississippi for Bass - CR, Jr. and daughter Ella's wills are on there. I have copy of Eugenia's will which was in Italian. Her 2nd husband, Giuseppe Bertinatti, died in The Hague 1883. Eugenia's parents home, Hawthorne Hill, in Sumner Co., TN, has been renovated and will be opened as a living museum next year.

Stacy, sorry to report that I do not have any additional info on this family. I poked around for a few minutes and didn't find anything. :(

RE: Pauline Knox

You're welcome. Apparently Pauline grave site is adjacent to the McEvoy tomb, which has usurped the two plots on either side of their tomb.

If you can provide the names of Pauline's parents I will see what, if anything I can do to locate their grave site. However, assuming their death of deaths preceded Pauline, that may not be possible, but I can try.

As a little bit of trivia concerning Pauline's grave, on the next row over, directly opposite the Murphy grave (adjacent to Pauline's grave) is the grave location of Lee Harvey Oswald's father.

RE: Memorial # 12171429
I am trying to remember. I think that by the death date, it came from soldiers that died during WWI. It also gave where some (not all) of the soldiers were buried and who the next of kin where. I found it online and then made sure all the information was added to Find A Grave. I will see if I can locate it again. ....
