RE: Duplicate Memorials for Ludie
Pat,

Check the Find A Grave FAQ's for Duplicates. You can request they merge yours into Heather's original via email. That way no one loses anything. They will delete yours when they finish the merge.

I am a Rousseau Family researcher and have also been adding, updating, connecting, and/or correcting the Rousseau Family, and others, on Find A Grave for over 3 years. I probably submit at least 100 corrections/updates/additions or more a month.

John VanBuren Rousseau is a 4th cousin, once removed, to the subject of my Rousseau tree.

Cheers,

LL

Pat, it's always good to hear from you! Generally the first memorial created is the one that remains and duplicates are deleted. There used to be an option to ask Find A Grave to merge memorials, but I don't see that anymore. I've added the spouses to her memorial. You just need to add the picture of her and her husband. You should be able to delete the other memorial. After that, I can transfer mine to you. Thanks!

That's so great that you found new family members. I love it when that happens!

I'm related to her on one of her father's brother's side, the Joseph Henry Kennedy(son of Joseph Emmanuel Kennedy and Octavia Franklin Hollenshead Kennedy) because Joseph and Octavia are my 4th great grandparents(my dad's mom's dad's mom's dad's dad).
Joseph Henry Kennedy(2/7/1870-2/9/1957) was also a twin to Henry Alexander Kennedy(2/7/1870-12/7/1957)

I would add the group photo but i don't sponsor or this memorial isn't sponsored because with a free with advertisement account, you can only post 5 pictures but if you want to post more you have to sponsor a memorial and stuff which i don't sponsor any memorials once you sponsor a memorial the limit goes from 5 to 20. just so you know.

You're so sweet, it's always nice to hear from you..The closest "cure" for my addiction was when I ran out of names to add to Maple Hill! Sadly, I have no relatives there, just a few friends. All of my relatives are buried in New Orleans and there aren't any online records for most of the cemeteries. A lot of the cemeteries down there are dangerous these days so I haven't had much luck with photo requests either. So, I've had much better luck finding total strangers than my own family.

The edit feature was added when Ancestry.com bought Find A Grave last year. It's a great addition. I just hope they never start charging people for all of our hard work!
