I've been doing genealogy since about 1977. I admin three DNA surname projects and helped found the Genealogy Club of Humboldt State University. I'm also teaching a genealogy class.

I'm busy maintaining my own genealogy pages and, frankly, do not intend to maintain many pages here. However, I would like to maintain memorials for my direct ancestors to four or five generations, at least those that are not already managed by descendants. That's a manageable project.

At 62 years old (as of 2012), I've returned to school and intend to graduate with a degree in history in 2013.

Hi. I saw you in a comment of the page Find a grave letting a memorial Margaret Henley. I'd like to ask you something. I want to send a letter to Margaret Henley tomb. In the cementary ST John the Baptist. I'm from Spain and I can't travel to London. I'd like to know if you know somebody to help me or you can help me to make my dream come true and send a letter to Margaret's tomb. This means so much to me. Thank you so much. I wait for your answer.

RE: Reuben Cooley
My great grandmother was Cornelia Arabelle Cooley of Grant Co, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Reuben Cooley and Elizabeth Smelser. Thats about as close as I get to the Cooley line.

RE: Reuben Cooley
Thanks Michael. I have Daniel Cooley Jr. being married to a Elizabeth Hardwick and I have his brother James Alvin Cooley being married to a Elizabeth Hardwick. And John W. Cooley being married to Mahala Hardwick. I assume that Mahala and Mariah and Elizabeth were sisters. Why two Elizabeth Hardwick. Did any of the Daniel and Milly Ball Cooley's daughters marry a male Hardwick? Terry

I am very impressed with your website and would like to follow up on a comment that you made to someone on Find A Grave regarding Thomas Henry Moon. Is he somewhere on that website?
Thanks,
Denise

RE: John Hart Signer
Thank you for the additional information about John Hart. I am reviewing this new information and will consider rewriting the biography to correct any misinformation out there. The problem all biographers have is that when there is contradictory information, which source is the one to be believed. It will take me some time to sort it all out, so your patience is appreciated.

Best wishes,

Morgan

Hello Michael, I'm so sorry I'm late getting back to you, my computer has been down, and boy was that a pain!

I will gladly transfer James over to you, I'm always happy to help people find their family members!

Amber :)
