RE: Thanks
Those were the only Winters in the cemetery, there are quite a few Wilders, but no other Winters. Hope it helps.

Bluff Springs Cemetery
Dear John Lewis,

I am Shirley's 1st cousin and will be going to this Bluff Springs tomorrow. I go there to Church twice a month.
I will look for people you listed per your note below. Dianne Vinson.....
Bluff Springs Cemetery, Lafayette County, MS
Shirley, I see where you have added several cemetery records for this cemetery. I have four ancestors buried in this cemetery. Their headstones read -- W. T. Singleton, b. 3 May 1862, d. 13 March 1896; Barbria Ladell Singleton, daughter of W. T. and C. M., b. 29 October 1886, d. 18 January 1890; A. J. Simmons, b. 28 March 1816, d. 7 November 1885; Cynthia Simmons, wife of A. J., b. March 1826, d. 13 January 1884 (broken). None of these burials yet appear on the FindaGrave website. If you have access to this cemetery, would it be possible for you to confirm these burials and add photos of the headstones? This would be so deeply appreciated. John Lewis

RE: Robert Burton Vinson & Margaret Rebecca Barsheba Metts Vinson
Hi Shirley, I am the great-granddaughter of Joseph Bonapart Vinson, and 2x-great of Michael Rhinehart Vinson so that would make us 2nd cousins. Yes, I am on Ancestry. My tree is Nesbitt/Vinson Family Tree. Would love to see what photos you have so I will definitely check your tree out. I wish I could've found you before now because last fall, several of the Vinson descendants--from several of Michael's children--placed a CSA cross on Michael's grave. I tried finding as many descendants from his children as I could. If you'd like to send me your e-mail address, I'd be glad to send you a copy of the program and some of the pictures we took. There were about 15 of us in all who got to attend the dedication--besides the SCV reenactors who did the ceremony. I wanted to ask, since you have been to Robert and Margaret's grave site, because I couldn't make out the inscriptions very well from the pictures you posted, does the information on the stone match the memorial pages that were created? The reason I'm asking is because I'm a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and eventually I want to file a supplemental application on "Uncle Robert". Since I live far away, and this is my only way to document his and his wife's birth and death info, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks again for taking the time to post the photos!

Thank you for posting the headstone photos on their memorial pages. This will be a help in completing my genealogy research.
