Nutter Cemetery
I am trying to locate the Nutter Cemetery in Buxton, Maine. I see you posted a photo from there and I was wondering if you had specific directions. I know it is off Simpson Road, but I not sure where. Thanks.

Hi,
I've been trying to fulfill as many photo requests as I can for Forest Hills Cemetery, since it is practically in my backyard, but the cemetery office will only look up the plot location of two names for free, charging a prohibitively high fee of $15 for every two names after the first two. (Plot locations are a must, since the cemetery is over 275 acres.) I do know, however, that by calling the Forest Hills Cemetery office during business hours (617.524.0128) or send them an email (info@foresthillscemetery.com) other people have been able to get the plot locations for free. If you find out the plot location, I'll be happy to photograph the headstone for you the next time I'm there. If you resubmit your photo request with this information other photo volunteers will be able to access it as well. Finding out what Path or Avenue they're on would be most helpful.
Best,
Doug

HI Johnson,

Ah - no I do not have your email unless it is the same as Ditdit........also I just happened to have taken pics today of the oldest stones in Worcester - the Old Burial Ground on the Common and pics of the graves that were moved to Hope Cemetery from the Common......I photo'd all of them - there is a Daniel Johnson but I forgot the dates on your photo request and I forgot the dates of Daniel Johnson's stone I found today - I have to find it among 352 photos - I have to see if they match up - I will just give you my email: nycnut2001@yahoo.com I'll send them by return email. -Mary

RE: Daniel Johnson
Ok. You are welcome to use my photos to mark the spot then, because he is buried in that cemetery somewhere then. I think you can just copy them or I could email you the copies. Mary

Daniel Johnson 1725-1802
Dear Johnson,

Welcome to Find A Grave

I saw your photo request for Daniel in Worcester Rural Cemetery. Please be aware that his death predates the founding of this cemetery. Although this fact alone does not mean he is not buried her as some remains were moved here from other old cemeteries in the city, it make it less likely he is buried here. Also, Rural is a very large cemetery - too large to walk the entire cemetery looking for a particular grave. You may want to remove the photo request until you know which cemetery he is in. If you are looking for genealogical help, try the Find A Grave Forums where there is a specific forum for genealogy assistance.

Good Luck with your search.
