Scott Photo
Hi, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting the tombstone photo for John and Elizabeth Scott in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cairo, Ritchie Co., West Virginia on Elizabeth's memorial page? Her memorial # is 165157566.

Thank you.

John C Crimm
Are you related to John C Crimm? If you are, I've found a picture (in my husband's grandfather's photo collection) of John & his wife Flossie and John's mother, Lydia. I also have 2 photos of John & Flossie's son as well. Feel free to contact me via my home page here on FindAGrave if you would like me to send them to you.
Blessings to you & yours, Shannon

Thank you for responding and for the information. This is not my family and I have no connection other than noticing the duplicate. So, I'll leave this in your capable hands to notify the other manager about the error and get the memorials merged or whatever needs to be done.
Best wishes,

Thats My Cuz
Thank you for letting me know about the mix-up with them!

I have sent the other member a message about the situation.

What happened was, I created mine for the wife by using the 1st name shown on her death certificate which is not the same as it is on their headstone which is what she was going by so when I searched to see if there was already a memorial for her that other did not show-up and then after creating her memorial I guess I must have been on "auto mode" and did not check to see if there was already one for the husband!

I am leaving it up to her on what to do.

After I think the situation has been resolved, I will let you know.

You have my second cousin's name as "Glenda" even though the gravestone has it "GELEND". Do you have any additional information about her name? I think you are probably right. My guess is that the engraver started with “GE” and then didn’t have room for the “A” at the end. I have seen the stone and photographed it myself so I know that it is hard to make out.
I found the obituaries for three of her four siblings and in the obituaries she is listed as “Gwen”, “Glena”, and “Gwendolyn”, all different. Since she was the first born none of them would have actually seen her. I couldn’t find obituaries for her parents. That would have helped.
