Been doing genealogy a long time but new to this site, I appreciate the help of the members who have given me advice and helped me transfer memorials, thank you!
I got a wild idea to take pictures of all the headstones in Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, Section 31, my father and grandparents and an uncle are all in that section with some distant relatives too. I have all of section taken and all of it submitted to the site, execpt for several stones that have living persons dates on them and a couple covered in dirt from new burials. I like going out after an overnight rain, (it cleans most of the stones) so some might be damp in the pictures. Not every picture of a headstone on this site from that section are mine, a couple other volunteers had already taken some so that helped me in my quest to get them all done. | |
