|I am a volunteer genealogist for the Brooksville (Maine) Free Public Library. A request for a photo of a tomb stone led me to my current project. With the help of my DAR chapter, we have adopted the cemetery associated with the West Brooksville Congregational Church. We have 4 years to repair, clean and locate the missing graves so that the cemetery is ready for Brooksville's bicentennial. I am happy to take photos of tomb stones in my area. Just ask!|

I see you took advantage of the weather break to get more photos. Thanks, so much for filling our requests.

Liz: Thanks much for the effort in trying to find the stone for my Great x 4 Grandfather. I had a note in my records that there was an inscription on the stone, but I'm guessing time has done its job eroding it. Is the plot map for this cemetery available online by chance?

Thanks for the I tire for Herbert. Did you read the newspaper article I uploaded? I ran across that news story and decided the tragedy should be noted on Find A Grave. The Smith sisters memorials are complete.
I have also put in requests for Herbert's parents so you can use the same photo.

"Thanks", so much for your extra ordinary efforts to brave the cold and snow to capture the markers. Most requests this time of year I would get a comment like, "Wait till the Spring".

Thank you, thank you, Liz, for taking on this big task. When I visit Maine, I'll definitely visit this cemetery.

Thank you for the photo, ironically I found another memorial for Ignatius that has a complete stone, ( with his wife's name on it too) but it is located in a different cemetery. I have no idea which cemetery is correct so I sent the mangers of the memorials a message to take a look and try to decide which is correct.
