I think I understand your effort to link all the war veterans...problem is...you have created an ADDITIONAL in the same cemetery for Obediah Childress. Such confusion. I see I am not alone here as well.

Basic rule is...One entry per burial. Keeps this site a great resource.

Perhaps a Virtual Cemetery of all the veterans you want to honor would be a better way to group these?

Thanks, just trying to help out :)

Why is it necessary to have 3 memorials on the same person in the same cemetery? And why do you have 2 different DMWV accounts to effect the same purpose? I was about to submit a bio/obit on Mr. Miles, but held back when I saw 3 mems on him. You made a duplicate to say he was in the Mex War, and you made a duplicate to say he was in the Civil War and this on top of the original you already had. Anything said about this man can be said on ONE memorial.

Please...Please read the FAQs (to the left) under "Help with Find A Grave" and delete two of the mems on him! And you should combine your DMWV accounts as well. My Goodness, I am so confused!

Duplicates
From the amount of duplicates you have created, it doesn't appear you understand the purpose of Find A Grave. Reading the FAQs (site policies) is highly recommended. Site admin AJ once made this statement:
"The FAQs *absolutely* detail site policy and all members are expected to follow them and abide by them."
Duplicates are simply not allowed and you should delete all that you have created else your account be in jeopardy.

Hello there,

We added a photo of Pvt J F Branch today. Is this your family? Or is this a project? I NEVER walk past a Vet without taking a photo, just to be sure one is posted of them:)
