I live in Monroe Co WV and have been doing research for over 25 years, which has spilled over into Cemetery restoration work. I am working on the original "Old Lebanon" Cemetery in Pickaway, where my great grandparents are buried. it is dated circa 1803! Mising, broken, buried stones are being located annually and I will post them as I find them. I am also working on many other Monroe Co. names.

This is what I wrote to you about Nellie--

"It looks like you meant another Grandview Cemetery--Grandview Memorial Gardens
Mercer County
West Virginia

They both died in/near Bluefield VA/WV. Both she and her husband are buried in Mercer, not Raleigh County, but I will be happy to make memorials for them in the correct cemetery if you don't want to.
Just let me know. Thanks!

Yes Know about Arnold Cemetery but not been there to photo graves yet.

Geneva Flack-Arnold married Herbert Blackwell and they lived in Thomasville, Thomas County GA; both deceased... no obits, death certs, grave records found to date.

But I updated Cora Belle grave with emerging info.

Flack on king.. not sure who they are. I was wondering if any African Americans on muddy creek mtn used surname Flack?.

The Greenbrier Historical Society says there are graves back on the King Ranch Road.
Follow the King Ranch Road to the top of the hill and near the "telephone" tower are stones. Found by Bruce Chases's brother Delmar (who is no longer with us). Lacy and Odie Flack are buried there, but no dates given.
Cannot call you at the moment.. noisy party here.

Well at the moment I am confused about what you said.
But of course, keep working on it and I will correct Cora Belle when definitive info is found.
Beware of the redundant names in all the Crones and Flacks around there. And we know of the unusual relationships that come up now and then in them thar hills, reminding me somewhat of Abbott and Costello gig about Who's On First!!
What are you doing in Fry/Flack next week??
Too bad I cannot join in... it is a very peaceful place to be visiting as I recall from my visit there.
Seems like all the stones to be found have been found and photographed. Removing fallen trees and such? Adding funeral home markers for presumed burials without markers? Find any more records to support burials there like death certs?? Would be nice if we had ground penetrating radar device!!
Oh and if you have a chance... get into the OTHER FLACK cemetery over on the King ranch across the road back by one of the radio/TV towers.
