Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Nebraska, but now live in Phoenix, Arizona. Many of my ancestors came from Germany or Ireland and settled in the Midwest - mainly Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska, although I do have Irish ancestors who stayed in Pennsylvania. My genealogy research includes the following surnames: ARKFELD, ACKFELD, DITTRICK, WEISER, HUGHES, QUEENEY, BURNS, LUECKENOTTO, JURGENSMIER, MCCABE, BECK, ZACH, DRESS.

I have been researching my relatives for the last 15 years, but my uncle, Richard Arkfeld, started the genealogy research in the 1960s - which has helped me immensely in determining which people are truly my ancestors.

Find-A-Grave has helped me trace my ancestors to specific places as well as helping me locate some of their descendants. Most of the memorials that I have chosen to manage are all part of my family tree.

Fr Arkfeld
Am listening to a talk
Fr Arkfeld gave about death and dying. Am a Catholic who is addicted to Catholic radio. My husband and I live in
Reno, NV and today I selected this radio station to listen to as I walked Gunny, the dog you see in the photo. Please tell me, are you a close relative? I am so moved by this talk Fr. Arkfeld gave and wish I could have known him. I am from Omaha, Nebraska, and go back routinely. and I must say, I dont know where Battle Creek is! Best regards, Cheryl in Reno
