Elaine, I noticed that I spelled Marshall N.C. with an e. It should be Marshall and not Marshell.

I quess the woman in that picture is either Manervia or Mary. Maybe, Manervia and Mary are the same person? One of my relatives gave me that picture and told me that it is a picture of T.A. Center. I do not remember her telling me the name of his wife. She has died and I do not know anyone who would know her name. Sorry that I do not know more about T.A. and Mary Center.

Mary Center
Elaine, I think that is a picture of Mary with T.A. Center, but I am not sure. The 1900 Census of Marshell N.C. has that Adoeplies Center was married to Manervia E. The census gives Adoeplies date of birth as June 1844 and Manervia's birth as 1850. There were two children in their household at that time: Hester J. Center-daughter and Mallie E. Center-son. I went to Marshell North Caroina in 1989. I found Rev. T.A. Center's death information in the courthouse there. I wrote down some of the information. Mary Center, wife of Rev. T.A. Center, gave the information. Rev. T.A. Center's death was Aug. 21, 1920, place of burial was Rectors Chapel Cemetery near the town of Marshell N.C., and the date of his burial was Aug. 22, 1920.

Maybe, Manervia was called Mary or maybe, Mary was the second wife of Rev. T.A. (Adoeplies) Center?

Both of the infants could be the children of them, but I have no proof. Do you know or have proof? If you do please let me know I I will connect them. Thanks
