According to the cemetery records, he is in the Restlawn Section, Lot 11A. You might want to add that to your request to help the photographer find the headstone (it's a pretty big cemetery).

Martha Frances Oakes

Hello Teresa,

I have posted the photo you requested for Martha Frances Oakes. The marker is on the same general plot as all the Workman graves that I photographed several days ago. There is another marker very close by that could possibly be patrt of the larger plot. It has the names 'Alfred Williamson' and 'Janet Williamson'. I got a picture and will post it, just in case these are also your relatives.

Della Faye Appenzeller

Hi Teresa,
I have posted Della's grave marker photo as you have requested. Della's grave seems to be in a family plot. The grave to Della's right is James Caperton, then to his right is Paul Caperton and to Paul's right is Ernest Caperton. There is a headstone in front of James's grave with three names: Lawrence C. Caperton; Ethel Caperton Workman and Paul Workman. Then to the right of that stone is one for Martha Caldwell. I have posted photos for all of these. Hope this is helpful.

Reba Workman

Hello Teresa,

I just got back from the cemetery and got the photo you requested. To answer your question, Yes Don and Reba Workman are buried side by side as you will see from the photo. Their graves are situated between the graves of John A and Fannie Workman and Johnny Jay and Sally Gaylene Workman. Another Workman grave for Lonnie L and D. Jane is at the foot of Don's and Reba's graves. Then at the foot of Johhny Jay and D. Jane is Robert F. Workman. The graves are situated in a "T" formation, with Robert F at the bottom of the "T"; Don and Reba at the top center; John A and Fannie at the top left and Johnny Jay and Sally Gaylene at the top right. I posted pictures on each individual memorial. I will send a photo of the grouping to you separately at your email address.

If I can Help again, just let me know.

RE: picture for sophia ferguson
Hi Teresa,

It gives me a satisfied feeling to help connect relatives with their deceased loved ones. For what it's worth, I usually try to clip the grass around a marker and try to make it look it's best for a memorial picture. It just seems to be a respectful thing to do with memorials in honor of a loved one.

I'm not sure that you noticed, but there were several other Ferguson graves nearby Sophia's. I photographed all the ones that were close and posted their pictures on their individual memorials. I thought that some of them might be your relatives. There are a LOT of Fergusons in Dock's Creek! In case you don't already know, you can click "Search for a Cemetery" on Find-a-Grave, then enter Dock's Creek Cemetery, Wayne County, WV to find all the Fergusons buried there.

If I can help you again, just let me know. :)
