Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy research off and on for over 20 years. Thank you very much to those contributors that have helped me and who went out of their way to encourage me to do this too.

I would like to pay it forward and help others in their search. Please let me know if I can help.

Most of the memorials I manage are family members, however there are a few who are not and I am more than willing to transfer them to family who will make the memorials informative and special for future generations.

I believe family members with an interest in contributing to the memorials are the best kind, not the contributors who add and collect memorials for the shear volume, who refuse to transfer management to those with a desire to make the memorial special and doing nothing with the memorial themselves.

Please let me know if I can help.

John Anderson Nelson
Hi Ann, Can you tell me how you are related to John Anderson Nelson? He is my Great grandfather and I've never seen a picture like the one you have posted. I'm not saying it isn't him, but to be that young the picture would have been taken back in the 1800s and this one looks like it is 1920s or 1930s. In most of his pictures he has a beard and is going bald on top. Judy Hubbard Garrett jag661@aol.com

Hugh White Long
Hi Ann! I am researching my family history and Hugh White Long is one of my family members. I have all the regular info about him (birth, death, marriage) but I saw that you uploaded a photo of him and called him "Judge." I also see Freemason symbol on his headstone. It's sometimes so hard to get to know the life of your ancestors; I was wondering if you can share anything that you know about his life with me. I would be so thankful. :-)

RE: Longs
I posted a photo for Artie Long and added Lizzie P., Gorman T., and Margaret V. "Jenny" Long to the cemetery listings. There are headstone photos for all of them. All of these were next to each other. Margaret was to the left of Gorman, Lizzie was to the right and Artie was behind Lizzie. If I come across more Longs, I will take photos and post them. I work with some Longs that grew up in this town. They might be related and have additional info. I can check with them if you would like.

RE: Thank you so much!
I really don't remember if there were any other Longs. I will check the next time I go to that cemetery. I know that there are some Longs in the Woodlawn Cemetery. It is in the same town about 5 miles from the Macedonia Cemetery. This is a small town. Most people are related.
