Samuel Jones
I'm the great great grandson of James Jones 1828-1908 who I believe was a brother of Samuel Jones. James and wife Rebecka Wimer Jones are buried at Zion Baptist Cemetery, Worth Twp., Butler County. My sister has posted some pictures of James and Rebecka and their clan if you are interested. James's farm, which was in Muddy Creek Twp about 1 1/2 miles from Portersville, is now inundated by the waters of Lake Arthur. James and Samuel may have owned adjoining farms. I have a vague idea that their father, Jesse, of Rose Point, bought a tract in Muddy Creek Twp. and may have divided it between the two sons. I believe that Samuel and James had a brother, John, but I have no info on him. Regards, Paul Myers

RE: lineage
Hello Bob, sorry I didn't respond quicker, but just got back from a golf vacation. The relation is through my wife's side of the family, her 6th great grandparents were John Myers Sr. (1754-1839) and Sarah Moon (1760-1825), who were in turn great grandparents of your Annie Myers, who married Samuel Jones.

Yes I would be interested in any information you have on these families, and scans of the pictures you have of Samuel and Annie would be nice to have also.

I don't have too much on this family, but anything I do have I would gladly share.

Best regards,
Kurt Albert
