Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm looking for all of my family, including my husband's family, memorials. Find A Grave is a great way to connect family members.

Most of my memorials, at this time, are family. However, I am in the process of including other memorials, in my surrounding area.

I've started the process of adding memorials from Monticello, Florida hoping that these will help others find a family connection. As I add these memorials I will take photos of each and add as quickly as possible.

I am happy to transfer memorials of your relatives except my family memorials. Please send a message or post an edit request on the memorial page and share your relationship.

You may use any of my photos for genealogy purposes.

These are my husband's grandparents. We searched for a long time to find out any information about them. We sent for death certificates which is how we found out about Roseland cemetery. Thank you so much for taking and sending these photos to us. We have recently started researching our families and really have had a most difficult time with his. We hope one day to get to the cemetery and make a visit. Again, thanks so much for your time and effort in our behalf.

RE: Morris Family and Sardis Church
Patsy,

Thank you for sending me this information about the involvement of the late Mr. J.D. Morris with the Sardis Methodist Church building. I did not know that he financed the original building.

After the death of Mr. Morris, his widow, Mrs. Katherine Morris, gave the Church to the Waukeenah Charge.

Thank you for the link to the church history.

J.D.(James Devere) and Catherine (Mathers) Morris were the 2nd great grandparents of my husband.

Sandy

I must decline your edit to date of death as November 7, 1863 as Roseland Cemetery records state November 17, 1863. I have included the link to the PDF file so you can see the entry for yourself.
