|MacFancher||Margaret May Morris Evans|
Tina, I thought I would write again to see if there was any new information regarding my Cousin, Margaret May Morris Evans who married Samuel B. Evans. Someone told me she might have been married before and had a daughter before marrying Samuel. I have no idea what her last name would have been then. Also, Samuel apparently had been married before to a "Rita." If Margaret had a daughter or other children, I would defintely like to find her or them. I have several photos of Margaret's father who I don't believe even knew she existed since her mother abandoned him when she was pregnant. Her mother, Nellie, allegedly died in an asylum. Margaret was raised by her aunt, who married a Smith and they lived in Stanislaus County CA until at least 1920 when Margaret was 16. I have worked on this mystery for a long time and the Evans family is my only link to recent times, even though she has been gone for over 20 years. I was hoping someone in your family knew who the administrator of her estate was and might have a copy of her death certificate.
Just wanted to say thank you for the photos of the Evans family. I do not "descend" from them, but Smiley was my "pop" as he was with my grandmother Lottie Murphy. Smiley told me stories of his family and I am sure that I met some when younger. Thank you

My husband, D. Lynch, forwarded me your message to him regarding your grandparents headstone photo that I took back in 2010. I removed them from the memorials, as per your request. Your photos were much nicer! If there is anything else we can help you with, please just let us know.
