|I presently live in Tucson, Arizona. I was born in Belmont County, Ohio. I am primarily researching Ault, Carpenter, Mobley, Boughner surnames as well as some other names I've come across in my extended family tree. The photos I have uploaded are from cemeteries in these Ohio Counties: Belmont, Monroe, Noble and Guernsey. I literally have quite a few more photos of tombstones. I snap more every trip to Ohio. If you see a family member, and would like me to transfer management to you, I would gladly do so.|
Note: Feel free to use my photos any way you choose. They belong to the whole family, not just one person.

|Annie Blanchard||Thanks for the Moberlys!|
Hi, Larry, Thanks for all the info on the Moberly line. my mother is a Moberly - her great grandfather was a John Mobberly who lived since before the town was founded in Smith Township in Belmont County.
Evidently not related to the Moberly's you've got photographed - my sister has some photos, but before we do more, I need to do more research there. Coming out there soon (only 3 hours from my home). We're related to Moberly - Street - Gladden line from there, but our Moberlys went to Missouri after the 1860 census.
Cheers, and thank you!

Thanks for the photo of Donna Burkhart's stone. I really appreciate the photo.
I have been a member of Find a Grave for over 8 years.
I have 5 family members buried in Palestine and tried to enter them, but have no luck.
Andrew, Mary, Howard, Paul and Leota Johnson are entered there.
I would like to erect a headstone but their graves are below the fence in the weeds. My cousin, Freda Anderson was there for some of the funerals. I was told that Grandpa Andrew and Mary were married in the Palestine Church.
If you could help me enter them in the Find a Grave, would greatly appreciate it. I am 81 yrs. of age and taught myself on computer and evidently didn't do a good job as I can't always do what I want to do.
You have helped me greatly with my genealogy of the Carpenter Family.

My brother had a MyFamily Belmont Co site for years. Ancestry is shutting it down. He moved all the content, thousands of photos and comments regarding various family histories to a new site.
It's almost ready. Pls consider joining this free, private site.
