RE: Jim Keele

The notice you see is a death notice. They are free. Obits cost $$. I diligently follow the obits, and if there was nothing else printed later. I went by the paper today and they have nothing else to add. The death notices are not published on-line. They are print only. If you think of anything else, PLMK and I will try and help.

RE: Agnes Felts

I'll take a look at and see if I can find anything about Aunt Agnes' brother and nephew. I only heard her mention her sister Ellen and their parents but I seem recall that was a large family with a lot of children. Mr. and Mrs. Keele are buried in the same cemetery as my father's parents.

Will get back to you with anything I run across.

RE: Family tree research
Sarah Agnes Keele Felts was married to my maternal grandmother's brother, Hiram Felts. I remember my great-aunt Agnes very well. I was very fond of her.

If you are a subscriber to, you can find everything I know about Aunt Agnes on my main database titled "Giants on the Earth: From Them Came I". All females in my database are listed by their maiden name, so you'll want to look up Sarah Agnes Keele - at least I think there's an "e" on the end. I did a lot of researching of her family. Her parents are buried in the same cemetery where my paternal grandparents are buried in Smith County, Texas.

If you are not a subscriber to, let me know who you're researching and I'll try to put something together for you.

In the meantime, happy hunting,

The burial I thought might be hers is not. When I went out to the cemetery again the sun was shining on the stone and the name is Salvatore Scozzari. That means both graves are unmarked and located in the same little open area. Sorry there was not a headstone to find. I will put a picture on the memorial showing the area.
Let me know if I can help you further.

Hilaria & Irene Calderon
I may have found Hilaria's burial but I believe Irene is unmarked. I need to do a little more research.

I found a grave that does not have a name on it and think it may be Hilaria's, but I need to find out which direction the space numbers go. There is a Maria Garcia to the left of the grave and she is buried in space 2 (died 10/20/1918) while Hilaria was buried in space 3 (died 10/21/1918). Irene would be further to the right (she is in a different lot number) and she died on 10/25/1918 - so it seems like they were burying from left to right as they needed to bury people. (Hope this makes sense) I'll let you know for sure after I go out again.

Hilaria Calderon
Hi Dana,
I'll head out in a couple of days to look for a headstone. According to the City of Tampa website there was also an Irene Calderon buried in the same area. Hilaria was 4 and Irene was 2. They died within days of each other so I'd assume they were siblings. I'll let you know what I find.
Have a good night!
