Hannah Stephens burial
Have you found anything about Hannah's actual burial place. According to Jay Gamble, per an interview I had with him in about 1975, she is buried in Hollywood, Alabama. There is a cemetery close to Stevenson where a lot of our relatives are buried.

RE: Link
Linking is a good thing even if it's not all correct. Someone will come along with helpful info if you have errors. Also saves the next person all that hunting time trying to find kids (or parents.) I have spent tons of time searching for both LOL

Hannah Martha Stephens Gamble

I went by the Stephens Cemetery in Woodville, AL this afternoon. It has been renamed the Derrick Cemetery. I could not find Hannah's grave. There are several unmarked graves that could possibly be the right one. Sorry I could not help with a photo.

I have someone in Jackson county who is going to go through the obits to see if it has the exact place of her burial. Her death cert says she was buried on the 28th so hopefully she will find something. Miss you on FB, cuz.

RE: Martha Stephens
I see the Gamble name all over Northern Jackson County, Alabama. The Stephens married with every family in Keith Springs mountain. I will look in my Cemetery book and see what I can find for you, may be a few days.

Martha Stephens
I have a cemetery book that was done in the 70s and at that time it said (Fieldstones for Martha & George Stephens). These grave markers are in the exact same place now. Some body has bought the head stones and maybe put the wrong date. They are many Stephens in the Keith Springs area on the mountain and valley. My first wife's people all came from Keith Springs, Franklin County and Jackson County, Alabama.

We are related and I would love to know exactly how. Are you in Florence's line?
