I'm a part-time genealogy buff and live in Cowlitz County, Washington. It is my pleasure to fulfill grave photo requests. I mostly focus on Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens in Kelso, Washington, but will take on other requests when possible.|
While fulfilling a photo request, if I find a person in the same cemetery who does not have a memorial here, I will add it along with a photo of the grave (or unmarked grave site, if applicable).

thanks! for the grave locations in Cowlitz View... I appreciate it so much!
I have 4 more Hartsoch's in Longview Memorial Park... do you happen to have access to grave locations there? one of those Find A Grave site care takers is not available....
I'll give you the 4 on my list.... if you can, thanks again so much.... if not, no problem.

#149409262 Hartsoch, Glen Devir
#72904782 Hartsoch, Isaac J

would you happen to know how I can get a map of both these cemeteries, in advance, by mail? or where I can make an inquiry.
thanks again, Jeanie

I'll be traveling through Longview/ Kelso next summer and would like to visit the graves of my extended family. Having location information would help tremendously.

Thanks for letting me know that one mystery has been explained. Never fear, though, there will always be plenty more. :-) But, we'll keep on trying to find those missing pieces of the big family puzzle. Thanks again for the information and good luck in your research, too!

|Ruth ||Cynthia Caroline "Caroline" (Barlow) Sherrill|
Thank you for the information you sent me in regard to another child, Prudence, of James Milton and Caroline Sherrill.
I don't have any records of this child in my tree data and I've been researching this family for many years. Also, the 'Barlow Family History' book does not include any information as to Prudence. Caroline, widowed, was living with her son, John P. Sherrill at the time of the 1900, 1910 and 1920 Census in Caldwell County, NC. Some of Caroline's younger children were also living with their mother and their brother at the time of the 1900 and 1910 Census, so I'm certain this is 'my' Caroline.
I do appreciate you sharing the information in regard to Prudence. I will keep this information and maybe further research will reveal that she is related to the Sherrill family from NC. Several of them did migrate to Washington.

|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Re: Raymond Hart|
When I checked all the Harts in Cowlitz View I came across Jeffrey Raymond Hart with the same dates as the Raymond S Hart, I have deleted the Raymond S Hart memorial because it seems they are the same infant. I have found some errors in the cemetery book mostly the names which is the case with this one. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention. I am glad you have took on Cowlitz View, I have tried but it is a lot a work for one person, I started about 4 years ago to photograph this cemetery but only got the oldest sections which was originally the old Kelso IOOF cemetery.
|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Raymond Hart|
I can't tell you who his parents are. I got the information about him in the Lower Columbia Genealogical Society cemetery book. Sometimes these infants were born stillborn, the only time I found a death certificate for infants if they lived a few hours, this one evidently didn't so no death certificate, occasionally I do find a death record but this one doesn't. I have also found many people who died in Portland,OR buried in Cowlitz View, this could be a case for this one.
