I live in Lynn, MA but most of my roots are in Maine. I love researching my genealogy and have been very lucky in finding so many ancestors that go back to the 1600's. I would be delighted to share info with relatives as well as any one else who is interested. | |

 | Wheelers I am always so happy to see memorials managed by family!
As for me, no connection to the Whites from the Mayflower. I have yet to find any New England ties to my family lines. My husband's White line was originally Weit and came to the US late 1700s, settling in Berk County, PA. | | | geniebug
 | RE: Shattucks No, I'm not related to the Shattucks. I worked on the DAR Real Daughters project and Phoebe Shattuck Merrill, daughter of Joseph Shattuck, was one of the DAR Real Daughters that I researched.Added by geniebug on May 19, 2013 4:47 PM | | | Jennifer White
 | Wheelers Hi Rachel,
I transferred management of Abigail and Asa Wheeler directly to you. I had gone into the cemetery just to transcribe it. They are not my relations and would much prefer you to have management of their memorials. Enjoy!

 | RE: Elizabeth Russell Foster Hi Rachel,
Thank you for contacting me. It's great to hear that you have such a noble interest such as preservation of old gravestones. I live in Andover as I think I told you, and in No. Andover last Sunday at the First Parish Burying Ground there was a meet-and-greet event so townsfolk could come meet some Historical Society members and see a demo from the company preserving the old stones in the Andovers (and beyond). Townsfolk were able to see where their tax dollars were going in this effort and at the same time learn about the processes of conservation and a little local history as well.
I sometimes do charity work for various towns in the form of gravestone tours to get folks interested in old graveyards and therefore get them thinking about conservation/preservation. In May I'll be giving a 7:30pm lecture at the No. Andover Historical Society on a Wed. and the following Saturday, an old graveyard tour of the two oldest burying grounds in the Andovers. They are both near one another and located on Academy Road near No. Andover Common, the original Andover center. Would be nice if you came to my tour, bring family for a good lesson focused on gravestone symbolism. ~John G. | | | AuntieJ

 | RE: Benjamin f George Hi Rachel
We were at the Garland Ridge cemetery looking for family graves. While we were there, we took pictures of the graves in the vicinity which is how the memorials for the George family came to be.
Our fellow Spencer Kenison was married to a Judith Hazeltine or Hazelton (this name has several spelling variations).
Judith's father was Samuel and her mother Alice Bodwell.

 | Sargent You are quite welcome. My grandmother was a Nickerson born in Rangeley. I think this is where our family links. Through the Nickersons and the Dunhams. Let me know if I have any others that linked directly to your family.Added by Diane D on Jun 23, 2012 3:48 AM | | | Michael Harrington
