Retired teacher; loves researching family trees. I have researched and published several of my family lines just for relatives, not commercially. I am always looking for pictures of family members to add to their biographies. My Grandmother had a suitcase of old pictures, some old letters and many stories which got me interested in ancestors.|

This is my Grandmother. Left off the obituary listing her children is my Father, James Alvin Brown, Jr born 1930, died 1997. He is buried at Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, Kiowa, Oklahoma. I would appreciate it if he were added to her list of children. Thank you so much.

Hi, Phyllis ~ it's always happier when I know a family's connection to you requesting "photo visits"...and delighted me to see the wife/mother's name also on their marker, bringing them together. You've reminded me that I had some very nice kidhood neighbors that I should make sure have memorials and pictures on here!

You are welcome - and yes, it looks like we might actually get a monsoon season this year :)

I'm sorry I looked for your request and did not locate. We were there today, just travelling through, a large part of the cemetery is very unkept and to be truthful, I was afraid of rattlesnakes, so we just did not go into the areas that had to be reached far from the little lane. So many of the anglo grave stones were scattered, toppled, etc., while the graves on the Catholic side, mainly hispanic were in better condition.
