I was born in Charleston, South Carolina and currently live on my wife's family farm in Saluda County, SC where peace, quiet and nature abound.|
I married (Mary Ethel Fulmer) on July 23, 1977. We have two adult sons.
I have been a Paramedic since 1985 and have worked in the EMS industry since 1983. My wife & I have served as choir director and organist for various churches since 1977. I love all kinds of Parrots and I have been collecting autographs since the 1960s.
Family history has been a passion of both my wife and I most of our lives. We have been doing research since the 1970s. I bought my first computer in 2011 and in 2012 began entering our family history in the Family Tree Maker Software. We have also placed our family history on-line on both RootsWeb (Whiteley-Carter Fulmer-Bowers Family Tree) and Ancestry (Whiteley-Carter Fulmer-Bowers Family Tree with Nuts). I try to update the databases once or twice a month.
If I have management of one of your family members and that individual is "NOT" in mine or my wife's direct line - I will be happy to transfer that individual to you - please feel free to ask.
I am always willing to make corrections and additions to any of the memorials I manage.
Polite, courteous and respectful requests are welcomed. Inflamatory and rude emails and requests are not acknowledged.
I only have access to a computer with internet and email twice a week, so please have patience and allow 30 days for any requests.
Enjoy the information I have provided!
Peace and Love!
Jesus is my Lord & Savior

Hi, Don :) I'll be back at the cemetery tomorrow and will redo pics to try and get better ones. James Parrish III is here also. Take care. Kathy

Hi Don, Wanted you to know that I did go check the correction of dates you suggested based on the tombstone. This is another "not-so-rare" case where the tombstone date is incorrect. I attached the DC showing 1933 instead of 1934. Thank you.

|Bob Collins||RE: Theresa Walker|
I think that this cannot be your Theresa Walker. The 1910 census shows Albert and Theresa very much together. Not likely if Theresa had married John E Walker in 1907. Living with Albert and Theresa Walker in 1910 are their widowed daughter (the Mary Kew on the stone) and their 2 Kew grandchildren, conveniently named Albert and Theresa. Albert Kew (died 1960) is buried with them but his name is not on the stone. There is a John Walker buried in public lot 1715, but in a different area of the lot. Public lots like 1715 hold many graves of unrelated people. Lot 1715 comprises over 800 grave spaces, each of which can accomodate 4 burials.

thanks for the photo
|Ray||RE: Annie Epps|
You asked about her husbands grave in your request.
Asinfo for you, the cemetery advised that her grave is in a single plot section and therefor her husband was not buried next to her. No info on his burial location.

His profile says he was in Kershaws brigade.
My Grandfather D. I. Hendrix was also in Kershaws brigade in the 1st South Carolina volunteers. Their first enlistment was 6 month before signing two year papers full regular.
The General was Maxcy Gregg and all ended up joining Lee's Army of Northern Virginia.
