Bio Photo For years I have been interested in family history. I stumbled across this once in awhile before, but I thought it was for celebrities or for just a handful of people.

People like Peggy Bargen Duey amaze me here with full obituaries for thousands of people. She and many like her have built this service to what it is now with thousands of contributions for each contributor. I hope one day I can be as prolific as she is.

One of the things I like about Find A Grave is that this helps to keep their memory alive for future generations. It builds the story of people who have come before us and created many of the things we now take for granted.

Westlawn-Hillcrest Vets
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Joan Potter
As with Daniel Potter, she is not recorded as being in Oakmont-Verona Cemetery. Interments are recorded by name and by year of interment and her name appears in neither registry.

Dr. Daniel Potter
I went to Oakmont Verona Cemetery today and there's no record of Dr. Daniel Potter being buried there. The woman at the cemetery was good enough to call the English Funeral Home and their records indicate he was cremated and the remains were placed in a family plot (location unknown.) Despite the obituary, his remains are NOT in O-V Cemetery.
