William Ivan Longanacre I visit cemeteries on private land all the time. Yes takes some knocking on doors and calling around to get permission. By west Virginia Law the property owner is to accommodate requests. Genealogy research is on the list of valid request reasons for visits. Also go to your findagrave user account tools and you can create a virtual cemetery .. a named collection .. of all your relative graves .. whether you manage them or not. To add a grave to your virtual cemetery once created in tools .. go to grave look down near bottom for link to add the grave to your personal virtual cemetery list. You can make more than one. I made several virtual cemeteries for civil war units I am trying to locate all their graves into one collection. Make the collection public and you can share with other living longanacres and interested persons.
William Ivan Longanacre I tried various MISSPELLINGs of the last name for 1933 (as I see the family name misspelled OFTEN)and came up no death cert too... keeping in mind.. not all persons dying in Greenbrier in 1933 have death certs.
So Ivan Sr (aka William Ivan Sr) and Mary divorced at some point after 1938.
William Ivan Longanacre Interesting. 1. Who died in 1993? William Ivan Longanacre? 2. Burials stopped in this family plot in mid 1900s. 3. Uncommon name is in your favor for reducing risk of another person with similar name and birth date. What other details do you have? Obits? Death certs? All the family lives in Irish Corner District or Lewisburg Greenbrier County? etc. I will look around some more too.
