Willie Hollenbeck
I don't need to check the web site, since the cemetery already told me that when the material was copied they used the initials instead of the correct name. When I find this information and pass it on, I thought I was doing a good thing, especially if someone has a photo request. Brenda might know what the initials stand for, but I'm quite sure most people wouldn't. But since Willie's request has only been on a year and a half, maybe I was rushing the correct section name.

Go to the New York Heritage website which has the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System and the burial records of Lake View Cemetery. I found the page for Willie Hollenbeck, and it gave me the information exactly as I entered it. I see no need to expand LLA into the longer form (also correct) you got from the cemetery office. They are the same. Of course I donít think you sent that correction for the heck of itódo you think I turned it down without good reason? As far as photos go, Brenda E., a long-time Findagrave contributor, takes most of the photos I request for burials at Lake View, and she has no trouble locating the site from the abbreviated form. You neednít get your hackles up over this. If there had been any new information (and I double-checked) I would have accepted it, but I see no need to change this. Send me something new, and Iíll gladly add it.

You are very welcome! I will however, keep an eye on the stone and see if I can get it in better light ... I will let you know if I do. Jenean

RE: Nettie Wright Averill
You're welcome. I seen the dates didn't quite match, but close. I also added a Harrison Averill, buried in the same vicinity. Would he have been a son?

Thank you for the compliment on our pictures. If you want to enter the memorials for the others, we would be happy to post the pictures to those as well. All the best, Bill and April

Thanks, Donna,

I added Mary's maiden name. Then in Notes I credited you with the additional info and put it there. I couldn't find where the other two husbands were buried.

Lorenzo D. Mather 11501812
Hi Donna,

I believe I got the cemetery list from USGENWEB when I transcribed it 11 years ago and then and went and took photos for this cemetery. The stone was definitely there so I would assume this is where Lorenzo is buried? This is one of those that was lying on the ground.

Yep, we live in North Central Illinois actually, on our way to a show out near Buffalo and avid Find a Gravers, so were hitting some cemeteries on the way. That became an afternoon! As an FYI, with the exception of some unreadable stones, we looked at every stone, so very unlikely the rest of your requests will be found unfortunately. We probably missed a few maybe, but we have filled like 8500 requests, we do this ALOT! :) And we were really trying to make sure that we hit every stone. That cemetery, as you know, is really not that big, but it has some strange lines, as they are mostly buried in circular sections.. I am glad we could help, but you may want to make sure that those requests that are outstanding are definitely buried there, some were not that old!! We probably will never be back again for a second pass through, so all the best!!

I probably just had not gotten to adding the photos at that point, they should be uploaded by now I would think!
