Margarette Lack

You requested a photograph of Margarette Lack's tombstone in the Mt. Whitney cemetery. Margarette is buried in Section 3, Lot 105B, Grave 4B. The grave is unmarked. I confirmed this with the cemetery caretaker.

Sorry that I could not send better news, but at least you have an answer.

You will have to go to the Baby's memorial and ask the person who created the link to add the link to the father.
He had a son who passed as a baby... Ernest is my grandfather. The Find A Grave ID # to his baby son's resting place is: #20136830. Please add. Thank you.

Ernest M. Smith

Hi Jenny,
I am thinking that Ernest is the husband of Laura Alberta Porter Smith also buried in Forest Lawn, but in a different section.

Laura died in 1969. Maybe Ernest remarried??
I have them in the 1920 census in Grant, Garfield, Oklahoma with son Ernest. I think they were next in Los Angeles in 1930 and 1940. Ernest was a soap salesman and they had two daughters Elizabeth E and Mary J.

The picture of Ernest and daughter "Dot": Could this be his granddaughter?

If you think this connection is correct, I would like to hear from you.
