RE: Turner/Calfee
Hello Ms. Walters,

Thanks for the nice note. You are correct in that Nancy Jane Turner Calfee's parents were Calvin Turner and Catherine "Kate" McKinney Turner. As far as I know, Calvin and Kate had 7 children and I have a lot of information on some of Nancy Jane Turner Calfee's siblings. There is too much to go into her but is you want to contact me off-line I will be glad to tell you everything that I know about Calvin, Kate and their 7 kids. I have never researched Bertha Catherine Calfee Smith and Noah Abraham Smith but I would be willing to give it a go just in case you have not already have not gotten all that you need. I am just offering this as FREE research. I love doing it and helping others out and adding to Find A Grave .. by now you know that I am James Turner Harris .. my email address is .. .. I have only a very distant connection to the Calfee's but my mother's father came to Washington Co., Mo. in the early 1880s with Joshua & Sarah Matilda Smith Calfee and their family.

God Bless,

p.s. In Mo. I know that Joshua Calfee changed his name to Caffee. I believe there are Calfee's and Caffee's in Mo. but I would have to go back and look again.

Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

Not trying to nag, just FYI that we've cleared over 300 requests this spring at Calvary in Cleveland and now have 565 requests. We'd be happy to clear your request(s) but some/all do not have plot information. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot information. We most likely already have a plot map but will let you know once we have plot info if we also need a map. Thanks!

You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are working to clear the more than 730 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.
