 | RE: Waugh's I have been slammed with moving, babysitting, working, etc. and haven't done anything with genealogy. I hope to get back to it in the next few months. Anything new on your end? | | | Gail Reeve Lamaster
 | RE: Harmony Apparently the original cemetery wasn't kept up so I think it was the government, I'm not sure, that arranged for some 37,000 remains to be moved. The National Harmony Cemetery has her listed in their record. I just called and confirmed, the Arthur Pannell was buried in 1974 but that's all they have and that he was in a wooden box(?)and he was 62. | | | Gail Reeve Lamaster
 | Francis and Arthur Pannell I'm sorry the spacing got messed up. | | | Gail Reeve Lamaster
 | RE: Francis and Arthur Pannell The Tilghman bench marker reads:
Nathan L Sr. Ruth E. May 31, 1913 Nov 28, 1919 Dec 28, 1974 Sep 19, 1996 Nathan L. Jr. May 26, 1937 Apr 3, 1993
Jean E. Jeanette A. Feb 12, 1940 Jan 7, 1954 May 31, 2012 Jul 24, 1998
This is the way they appeared on the marker. If you want to add them to the cemetery I'll add the picture. Are you aware that this cemetery has only existed since 1957, but 37,000 remains were moved from an old Harmony cemetery to this cemetery in 1959. | | | Gail Reeve Lamaster
 | Francis and Arthur Pannell I went to National Harmony Cemetery and I found where Francis was suppose to be buried but the marker was not there, I had one of the councilors come out and verify the location. No explanation. Actually, the only marker in the area was a lot marker for 'Coleman and Liverpool' There is a bench in the section across from the Garden of Tranquility, where William is buried, for the Tilghman family. That marker list Nathan Sr and Jr, Ruth, Jean and Jeanette, I have a picture and the dates on the marker if you are interested. I wasn't sure. | | | Barb Cribbs

 | RE: Celie Gore Thanks for the reply. Celie or Celia Gore that is my descendant married Jacob W Pettry. They had a daughter named "Mattie" Araminta Pettry. She married a James Anderson Jarrell Sr. They had a son James Anderson Jarrell Jr. I wont go into any more detail, but check out the Jarrell's that I have entered and see if any of those are your kin. I do my research in the Dry Creek, Horse Creek, Rock Creek, Naoma, Saxon, and Peach Tree areas. If you find any and need links I will do so, or I will turn over to you any that are your kin. | | | Franklin L Wills
 | RE: Gore They have to be different people. My Grandmother Dora Gore died in 1939. I have visited her grave many times at Haddleton.

 | Gore According to my info, John McHenry Gore was the father of my grandmother Dora Gore. I am not sure how accurate my information is,so I just deleted it. | | | Franklin L Wills
 | RE: John Henry Gore I will just delete my entry. All my info came from an uncle that did a lot of research in the early 80s & talked to people at that time had some connection to the ones he was researching. | | | | [View all messages...] |
