Bio and Links
My sister and I are doing research on the following family names: Baird, Bell, Sims, Simpson. All 4 families were in Cherokee, Smith, Wilson & Bexar Counties in Texas in late 1800's.

Additionally I am doing research on the DeFee family who came from South Carolina via Tennessee to Sabine County, Texas around 1833. They lived in Sabine, San Augustine & Shelby counties.

RE: William Hardin Baird
I called a few minutes ago to Mission Park South and they transferred me to "Mike." He looked at the file and there is NO headstone for Mr. Baird. Sorry.

Looks good. I just cannot seem to stop myself from looking to see if I can find just a bit more of information on people. It's like they are looking over my shoulder urging me on. Or maybe it is just my natural curiosity. They say curiosity killed the cat and I figure I am on my 140th cat life.....LOL
Thanks for adding to the memorial.
It is appreciated

RE: William Hugh Graham
Hello Linda!

No problem at all! William's grave was really easy for me to find (sometimes graves in Rose Hill are next to impossible to locate) and I'm glad it was a help for you and your husband! (You're right, Houston is a long way from Macon, lol).

Absolutely, please feel free to use either photograph on ancestry.com. I don't mind at all.
