RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 27389319 Augusta L Middleton
Karl, I suggest you get the book "Remembering Old Charleston" A Peek Behind Closed Doors by Margaret Middleton Rivers Eastman published by the history press, Charleston in 2008.

Augusta's family were Huguenots who left France after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantz. They migrated to Dublin, Ireland where the family remained for several generations.

Charles Francis Middleton command two blockade runners, Mary Celestia and the Lelia.

No. Just that he is buried at Forest Hill. If he was buried in that section, I suspect his grave is unmarked. I photographed the entire section.

Thanks for the information. I did find record of William Louis Lohman, and added a memorial at Forest Hill. I also requested the holder of the Julius Jr Memorial add parent links.

RE: Dr G W Gray, Gorman Cemetery
I can't remember exactly where I got that info. I did look at another site at:
http://files.usgwarchives.net/tx/eastland/cemeteries/gorman.txt

they had this:
GRAY, G.W., Dr. - Mar 6, 1825 - Nov 12, 1908 Blk J
GRAY, Rebekah (wife of Dr. G.W. Gray) - Apr 11, 1849 - Jan 16, 1918 Blk J
