Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am more than happy to transfer any memorials that my family is not connected to.

This is all about connecting families and sharing. I have no reason to keep memorials of people I'm not related to. I laugh when I see people say they won't do mass transfers, but they are willing to add info to the memorials for them, that is so much more work than just transferring them to their family where they belong.

For easy transfers, please click on the 'edit' button on the top right of the memorial you would like transferred, then click on 'suggest a correction', ask me to transfer the memorial and please include your member number (which you can find at the top of your profile page next to your display name).

I hope everyone has read the rules about NOT entering names of survivors.

Love this line from the movie 'Personal Effects':
"It's about waiting for someone to come back, that you know will never come back, about that time spent waiting... and the people you meet in the waiting room."

I have met a lot of wonderful people in the waiting room!

RE: Tolliver
Hello, you asked me to add parents to John Wesley Tolliver. I am not sure you are correct about the parents. I have been told his mother's name was Basha but have no other info on the parents or siblings. I am related to his wife's side, the Blevins family. If you have anything to verify John Wesley Tolliver is the son of John Madison and Matilda Tolliver, I would be happy to add them as his parents.

Ben Taylor - Bland Cemetery
I don't know whether there are other Taylor's at Bland Cem, or near him. Looking up records, in 1920 census there is a Ben Taylor at Rocky Gap in Bland county with parents Etta and John G. In 1930 the family is now at Speedwell (the other end of the county, father now as John but same person based on age. In 1940 the father is deceased and Ben is back near town of Bland with his mother and brother Clayton. I would think the Ben Taylor at Bland Cemetery is the one you are looking for. Next time I am up at Bland I will look for other Taylor graves there.
