Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family's ancestry for years now and have gotten quite far on my maternal grandfather's side, having a professional family tree done by my maternal great-grandmother many years ago. The other sides are not quite as easy, as my Patterson and Miller ancesters have not been in the U.S. as long. I am also an amateur photographer, with an emphasis on amateur, so I have tried adding pictures where I can and will continue to visit cemeteries and photograph tombstones. I see so many that are unreadable due to age and weather, and that is such a shame because that history is lost, but it makes me more determined to get out there and get pictures while I still can. I drag my grandkids with whenever possible so they can realize the importance and possibly continue after I am gone.

RE: Olaves Kendsor Lind
I think we all try and do the best we can! I would hate to think that someone would send an update that they know is incorrect! My grand kids have also outgrown going to cemeteries with me. They are afraid that a ghost will follow them home! I just spent some time in Indiana that was wonderful! Cleared up a great deal of lose ends. Have a good day!

Reliable? I have this young girl who sends many edits a week. I have had issues with several of her updates! Especially from one surname. I am not sure how reliable she is at this point. I just refused and update and she sent info as to why I needed to change the memorial. A few days later a man emails me that it is not correct. ...... you want to accept the auto edits but now I have reservations about this one member.

Jesse Garrett
Thank you so much Suzanne for taking the time and trouble to go out and photograph not only Jesse's gravestone but also all of the other stones around him. I was hoping that it would prove to be the Jesse who was married to Mary McClurg but your fine work has eliminated him as the Jesse I am looking for. Somewhere in Viroqua in Vernon Co., Wisconsin is the Jesse and Mary I'm looking for. Thanks again for helping me in my quest.
