Bio

My husband and I have been researching our family histories for over 30 years. Both natives of the Carolinas, we still live in the area and enjoy exploring cemeteries, libraries, and court houses in pursuit of information concerning our ancestors. One thing that saddens us deeply is the neglect and abuse that so many cemeteries in our area have suffered over the years. The old, worn headstones are oftentimes the only testament to a life once lived, yet many markers now lie broken and tossed about. Even some of the newer cemeteries we've visited have undergone changes that have either destroyed or damaged grave markers. These events simply underscore the need to make photographic records now while we're still able to find the resting places of these dear saints.
