I'm interested in my family tree and know how neat it is when you find info that was heretofore unknown! So just thought I'd try to help with others searching too. I have some web addresses for cemeteries that I have made posts in, there might be additional information on other burials of interest in those places. Mainly in Menard, Adams & Hancock Co. IL
I'd be happy to help if I can.

Lucinda and Louise Crane
This Lucinda seems to have been born in 1866, with an older sister Louise born in 1865--looks like different Cranes to me. Good luck solving your mystery!

RE: William P.Rawlings Sr
HI! All I really have on him is the result of research my Aunt did over 20 years ago. His daughter married a Day. My Great Grandmother was Kati (Utley) Day. I have found the same information on rootsweb and I would imagine that it is accurate.
I don't have the paper work in from of me, but I believe that his daughter Mary married William or Truman Day.
I am trying to remember some information about his sons. Let me look it up over the next couple of days. I need to check a few sources.
Peace,
Mike.

RE: Colby tombstone
Not a problem. Unfortunately, it was so sunny that the other side of the stone was too dark to photograph, so if you want that side of the stone I can go out some time when it's not so sunny.

RE: Samuel M Curless
If I happen to be in a particular cemetery for my family lines, I will also take random pictures in the cemetery. I was at the Curless Cemetery to take pictures of my Wartick family and a few others. My grandmother's family used to take care of the Curless cemetery years ago from what I was told. If you would like me to transfer them (Samuel M and Ella) I will be more than happy do it to a family member. Use the edit buttons on each memorial to make it easier for me to do this. I have seen your tree on Ancestry and love the pictures. I had just contacted you about them, and then I recognized your name associated with this site. It's good to meet you.
