We may be distant cousins. My 6th gr grandfather is Hans Ulrich 28988203, my 5th gr grandfather is Johanne # 28988249 and his daughter Barbara married my 4th gr grandfather John Harper.
I see you have a lot of info on the Backenstoss line. Do you happen to have a copy of the Backenstoss Memorial plaque or know anyone stil envolved with the Backenstoss family association.

Hello Cousin:
Received your messages concerning Johannes & Anna Barbara (Siegfried) Deisher. Some of it I have already added. But according to the last research that was completed by the author of the book- THE DESCENDANTS OF JOHANNES DEISCHER OF BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA:
Johannes & Elizabeth Siegfried's daughter named-- Anna married Jacob Deisher--who was the son of Johannes & Anna Barbara (Siegfried) Deisher. And since we all know that our German ancestors are famous for marrying their first cousins, we are thinking that Anna Barbara Siegfried & Johannes Siegfried were sister and brother, since her son married his daughter.
Therefore, I am not linking Anna Barbara to those parents. Johannes & Elizabeth Siegfried left wills in which Anna is named as Jacob Deisher's wife. Also names their other seven children.
