Hi Elizabeth, I said in one of my messages to you that Elizabeth and Sarah Yocum were sisters. They are cousins. Their fathers are brothers. Charles Karl and William Daniel are brothers. I have been searching for information on Elizabeth and James but I am finding nothing. I'll keep looking. Linda

RE: Yocum, Murphy
Hi Elizabeth, I sent you a message over the weekend, but I'm not sure you got it. I haven't heard from you. I don't know where they are buried. I wish I did. In the spring I'm planning to go yo Lincoln Co. Kentucky in hopes of getting more information on family members. I do know Marion Murphy who is my gr.grandfather is buried in Eason Cemetery in McKinney, Kentucky. A daughter of his is there, too. His wife Cynthia's folks are also there. Cynthia's mother is Sarah Yocum a sister to Elizabeth. They are both my married Gabriel Walls. Any information you have on this family I would appreciate having. The only info I have is what I have from Linda

RE: Yocum, Murphy
Hi Elizabeth, The only information I have on this family is what I have found on In fact I am not 100% sure they are my family. The dates I have match up and some photos I've seen resemble other family members. I am planning a trip to Ky. this spring in hopes of finding some answers to questions I have. I do not know where they are buried. I know my gr.grandfather Marion is in Eason Cemetery. Family names match up also. My gr. grandfather named his sons William and Sam. Middle names Logan. Daughter Mary Belle. His children named their children from names I have found in the family line so I'm just hoping my research isn't all a waste of time. I have census records of 1860,1870 &1880 for James&Elizabeth, so I wonder why others had to raise their children? Do you have any information on Francis Marion or Marion which is what family always called him as I would be excited to learn anything about him. Thank you,Linda
