The writing on the headstones is obscured by the ivy and the century of dirt. I tried to expose the dates, but difficult. Someone paid for the ivy, but you may want to consider contacting the cemetery to see if the stones can be lifted. [Telephone: 216-421-2665, Fax: 216-421-2415

I looked them both up and I'm not sure but it does look that they are the same Betsey although the dates are a little different. I'm related to the Cummins through my maternal side....my 4th G.Grandmother was Delilah Cummins daughter of Moses wife of Levi Denny

My aunt's name is Bessie Lynn, but everyone called her Snooks. Thank you so much for taking the picture.

Joy, thank you so much for the information! Hopefully sometime his gravestone can be located. At present, I am working on restoring Wm. Lenox's old boyhood homesite family cemetery here in Phelps co. Mo. His mother and a few siblings are interred here. Thanks again, Garrett
I think it's going to be Helvestin cemetery. There is a John Helveston and Susanna McNeil buried there that I have listed. I don't know exactly where it is though. Ive never been there. I just used some info I found .
This may be the Susanna 67850687 last name McNeil
I have been looking on a couple of sites for Raphael Mills but I am not finding his info neither. I meant to tell you that you may use any of my find-a-grave headstone photos on ancestry or wherever you want. I don't mind.
I have a John Helveston buried in Helveston Cemetery in Gulfcrest b 1831 d 1903. and another b 1887. Is it either one of those? If so please post. Thanks so much. Not sure about the Susannah. Do you know the name of the cemetery?
I don't personally know of any connections but I will be happy to see what I can find out for you. I just realized that I am related in round about way to the Mills through William Walker Mills, the brother to Joseph Taylor Mills, and who married Harriet Boothe, who was the sister of my great grandmother Viola Boothe (Small world). I went to Wesleyan with Barry, Theron and Kirk. Let me know what I can help you with and I may be able to search ancestry.com for you.
