I just transferred her over to your care. Sorry for your loss. Kind Regards, Stacey

The two stones next to Leon are foot markers. No writing. I did not find a marker for Louis. I have added him based on his death certificate.

I like to keep the obituary as it originally appeared, as that is how it came from the source. I added a note that gives you as a source, and gives the correct information. Is that acceptable? Please take a look - 101514266.
Since you were related to Anne, would you like me to transfer the memorial to you? I would be more than happy to do so.

I wrote there was a problem and the marker wasn't there. I apparently walked right past it or missed that row when I checked. Today I was looking for another stone and almost tripped over it. Sorry for the confusion. I posted the picture.

At this cemetery wives were not buried with husbands until after 1970's

I looked at the photo closer, and I believe it says July 1839. Does this match what you know of him? I was going to send you a larger resolution version of the photo, however I had taken an overall shot and cropped out the separate tombstones to place on findagrave. The version saved on my desktop is unfortunately no better than the one I uploaded to the web.
I will more than likely never be over there again as I live in Columbus, Ohio. Sorry. I suppose I could delete the photo so that you could put in a photo request.

No, I can't read the tombstone. I believe per 1870 Census record she is Sarah born 1868 not 1863.

You have to click on the photo itself to enlarge it; the caption will appear below the enlarged photo. Please let me know if it is still not showing up.

We located this grave in the Elk Creek Baptist Church Cemetery; unfortunately it has been knocked over at some point. The caretakers had set it back up but it had fallen sideways again after that. The stone with the actual writing on it is still all in one piece, however, so everything is still legible. I added a caption on the close-up photo of the writing that states what the writing on the stone is.
