I have taken interest in Genealogy, specifically Ashburn's, along with Dabney, Anderson, Speck. My mother has been into it for 40+ yrs...now that I am getting older & dont have many folks left on my fathers side or anyone that is interested... I'm taken it up...for myself & my childrens sake.

Many thanks.
Thank you so much for the information/update. I appreciate your time and trouble even if it turns out not to be the answer I might want.

This is great.
Martha was my 3rd GGMother. I really appreciate the photo you posted for her. I do have a question though. The link is to Campground Cemetery, but your information said that she is actually buried at the Ashburn Cemetery in Overton Co.Tn. I'm not familiar with the area and planning a trip to Fentress Co. this summer. I would love to go visit the grave. Can you clarify this? Thanks again for the picture and information.

RE: Martha's headstone
I am an Ashburn. Martha is my GGGG Grandmother. I have been working on my family tree for the last 3 yrs. My husband and I were planning a trip this summer to look for the cemetery. We live in Michigan. I had heard her husband is near her, possibly in a tree that has grown over it? So you are an Ashburn? Who is Martha to you? If you have a family tree maybe one day we can compare notes. Thanks again for taking the photo. My email add is tomnancyandtyler@yahoo

Martha's headstone
Hi Lisa. Thank you for taking the photo. Do you live in Tennessee? Did you see other Ashburn graves there?
