|Bio and Links|
I have been studying and researching genealogy over the last 15 years. I have been connecting dots and some dots had to be errased, but still I am doing what I can to connect family decendants to ancestors for all my new generations to come. I want to pass enough information onto my family if they want to take my place when I am gone. |
I found Find A Grave three years ago, after my first born son died in 2008, if you want to visit his memorial his FAG #91917503. I created a memorial for him, and decided to become a member.
This site is perfect for missing links and sometime Ancestry.com doesn't have all the answers, but here with the help of dedicated genealogist, or grave finders, we can all put together the missing links with the help of all who cares about our loved ones and keeping them alive in our hearts.
I want to Give Many Thanks to those that have taken many pictures and allowed me to place them onto my family memorials, I am hoping in a couple of years I can do this full time.
I am looking for my missing family members i.e: Miller, Brown, McFadden, McFadin, Graham, Critchfield, Clark, Clover, English, Christenson, Donaldson, Olsen, Phelps, Dausland, Felder, Lytle, and other's that I hopefully will connect them, as my family line.
As I learn about the rules and regulations on keeping and transferring from one to another, I so appreciate the transfers that thoses allow me to maintain. I will keep watch of those and will add information to their site as I receive it.

I do enjoy relaxing by walking around the local cemeteries when weather permits, but if I ever have the chance to help someone find a loved one's grave, I very much love to help. To my knowledge, I am not related to any Millers. I must have landed at your grandfather's memorial page and left flowers out of respect and to honor him, though I'm sure I never knew him. I would be more than happy to keep an eye out for any family members you would like to find. Whatever information you might be able to offer would be very helpful. Especially full names (I've noted the ones from your bio), birth / death dates, and in which cemetery you think they might have been laid to rest (if any of that info is available to you).

Hi Paula, I am doing family research and see you manage some Kearns "Find A Grave" pages. Perhaps we are cousins, tell me which in the list below you are related. Wonder what early information you have on the Kearns ie. when and from where did they arrive in America. My line is: Thomas and Sophia Ann Catherine (nee Zwalling) Kearns (note you have on John Kearns Find A Grave page); John Kearns (1782-1851); Thomas Gardner Kearns (1813-1851); George Wesley Kearns (1838-1911); Laura Kearns (1860-1948) married William Lucas then William Graul.

I wrote a note concerning name discrepancy on memorial and in the photo request I mentioned the variations of her name that can be found in various records .... hopefully this will help many of us know for sure.

I added a note in his "Bio" section... would you take a look and see what you think?

I had a moment and noticed your edits, I think it should stay "as is" because this is what is written on her DC...unless you would like something else added in her bio section about where she lived etc.

Hi Paula: I enjoyed tracking your family, but I think I gave you all of the information I can find. I did not find any evidence of other children. You could try to track some of his siblings and see if you find any information that way.
I did find that Edwin is buried in the Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst, DuPage County. There is a memorial there #112226251 with a photo of his marker. I thought that because he died in Cook County that is the Arlington Cemetery he would be buried at, but the dates on this marker are right so it must be him.
Good luck with your search!

Although some records indicate that both Charlotte (no dates) and "baby" were buried on that lot, the sexton says no more than three were allowed on that plot. The plot was purchased in 1915 when "baby" was still-born. Later, when Fred died, the main stone was added and the small stone for Charlotte. There was no stone on the plot before Fred died. I'm guessing that Charlotte was the name of the still-born baby. There are no other records to verify this.
