|I am retired from the U.S. Army (26 Yrs) and live in Northeast, Kasnas. I must say, I go in spurts between working on family genealogy and providing picture's for other contributors. I focus primarily on family and veterans. As a member of the American Legion committee, we meet just prior to Memorial Day and update the list of departed Veterans in Marshall County. I also belong to the Marshall County Historical Society.|
Note: When I first started, I duplicated memorials without checking further. I am now trying to find them and delete them. Please notify me if you find I have duplicated a memorial of yours. My sincere apology.
USE THE EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID# or any correspondence. If you send me a request for transfer of a memorial, please explain exactly how you are related to the person.
Most of the memorials I've created are in Marshall County, with a few in Washington County, and Nemaha County. There are more than forty cemeterys in Marshall County to keep me bussy.
For the record, most of the memorials I manage are available for transfer, if you are related somehow. I will not transfer my relatives.
I focus on the following relative names:
FATHER: Temple-Nowland-Duncan-McNulty & Mayfield
MOTHER: Marquardt-Davis-Givens-LeMasters & McGuirk
Marshall Center Cemetery

If he and his wife aren't a direct Ancestor of yours could you please transfer to me. They are my 5th great grandparents. I have much to add to their memorials. Their Daughter Mary is my 4th great grandmother. They had a son Archibald Hudson "AH" Boggs who married Sarah Shock. They removed to Missouri with all children but a son my 2nd great grandfather Jacob Shock Boggs who married Rachel Keener. After she died giving birth to their second child Benjiah Thomas (he chose the name Thomas Benjamin Boggs). Archie and James Clendenin Boggs fought in the Civil war side by side. Sarah, Archie's wife died during the war. Archie remarried. After visiting his father in Missouri returned to Braxton where he signed up with the Confederate army. I have many records on our family lines. The WOW of discovery and family sharing . . . Sometimes if it weren't for our Family Bibles, much would be lost if someone just didn't care! And cousin's sharing what we have been blessed to hold for our next generation. I'm soon going to be another Grandma and my first great-grandchild. God surely blesses!
Thank you for your time! Thank you for your service and everything that you do! It is with great respect I am able to write this to you!

I noticed that you sponsor this memorial. Are you related? I am in the process of transcribing "Affidavits of Death" for Washington Co., Kansas, and his was the first I found. Let me know if you would like a copy.

Thanks for the sponsorship. I visited this cemetery back 2007 mainly because Benjamin was a Reolutionary War Vet. He is the brother of my 4th Great Grandfather Thomas. I also found the grave site of his brother Joseph in Tennessee, also a RW Vet. This generation is very interesting alone with their parents, Isaac & Nancy Ann. Pioneers everyone.
Retired Marine here, 22 years ('64 - '86).

You so kindly placed a photo of the marker for Rice Bagby Fuller on memorial # 97785247
I'm wondering if you would please add that same photo to the memorial of Rice Bagby Fuller.
His memorial number is # 140864998
|Judy Brand||Re: Elizabeth Wood|
You list Elizabeth Wood as being born in Posey County, Indiana and just further down you record that she was born in Virginia and moved to Ohio when just a child.
Can you provide any clarification on this?
Thank you for all that you do.
There is a duplicate listing for Nelson King in the North Elm Cemetery. Can these be combined?
I have been working on North Elm. I noticed that Pete is listed 3 times. Can that be resolved?
|Pam Witherow||RE: Thomas Marquardt Memorial|
You are entirely welcome!! No, I don't find any Marquardt's in my "Tree"!
Thank you, Sir, for your time serving and defending our country!!
