Bio and Links
I have been interested in genealogy for the last six years. I would like to exchange information about about the Robert McGough clan who immigrated to the U.S. from Northern Ireland in 1773.
Robert is my fifth Great Grandfather. My second Great Grandfather is William B. McGough. And, my Great Grandfather is Manual McGough, b. April, 1859, d. May 20, 1920 in AL.
I am also interested in the Boteler/Trotters of Nauvoo, AL, and the Tuberfield's of Carbon Hill, AL.

McGough
Hi, yes we are related. William McGough is my 5x Great Grandfather (I think it is 5x). Currently I do not have possession of any of my Genealogy except for what I have published here. Rueben McGough is also in that family photo of the McGough family circa 1908. My Grandfather, Thomas Alfred McGough is the baby in the gown, sitting on the ground, 2nd from the left If I remember correctly. His father, was John Thomas McGough.
Several of us got together several years ago and erected a new headstone for William McGough in Nauvoo. If I can ever get my granddaughter to send me my photo albums, I will post pictures that I do have.
