I stumbled across "find a grave" searching for some of my own ancestors in Illinois. I have always enjoyed the sense of timelessness and history of others that have gone before me when in a cemetery. When I saw what find a grave was doing, I was thrilled to join the ranks of volunteers to help others find the final resting places of their loved ones and perhaps some of their geneology. I live in Lafayette, Indiana have a husband and three grown children, one in Lafayette, one in Pittsburgh and one in Austin, TX. Thanks for the opportunity to help. If anyone runs across Percivals, and Hightowers, Schaubs (from Switzerland) and Eyestones, I would be interested in what you find.|

|LoriAnne||RE: Thank you|
The missing stone was a part of the message from find a grave. I can request a photo again if it would make it easier when you go back to the cemetery. I'm really saddened that she didn't have a headstone. I've heard about her all my life as I look so much like her.
Thank you so much for your efforts.

Thank you for trying to photograph Virginia Monteleon's grave site. I didn't know she was without a tombstone. I really appreciate the effort.

Thanks so much for the picture of Floyd K. Mitman's gravestone. I believe that my grandfather, Floyd Bayless Mitman, Sr, was named for this Floyd, who was a cousin of his who died young, six years before my grandfather was born. In any event, his is the first use of the first name "Floyd" in my Mitman's, and Floyd is not exactly a common name.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get that picture of Anna Smith. This is my husbands grandmother and I am working on the family tree for my sons. These hardest part of my search has been the distance. His family is in Layfette Ind. and mine in Cincinnati but thanks to people like you I'm getting there!! You are so appropriated!

L. A. tells me that a tree fell on this one. But there is definitely a lot of vandalism.

I found the memorial that this stone belongs to. See #61609243 It was in one piece just 2+ years ago. Very sad.
