Roland Flowers
I saw a message you left on another memorial saying that you are doing research for 2 elderly gentleman who are descendants of Roland Flowers (married to Anna Garrett). I am also a descendant. Please email me so we can compare information.

Lorraine Fee
Almost forgot to answer your question! Lorraine's father was Julius Irving Read. Grandma was somehow convinced that her lineage came down from George Read who signed the Declaration of Independence. I can't make the connection there, but there are a lot of other interesting people!

PS Her mother was Jessie Helen Brown

The Fees
Just a note about the "Alma's"(I'm talking about William Francis'daughter here)...look closer at that 1900 census; the year of her birth at first glance LOOKS like 1880 but I think it's a sloppy 1882, and they say she is only 17 which makes sense.
Now MY Alma, daughter of Silas, had Clarence who married Lorraine and had Laurel, my mother!
Take care and keep in touch!

John M. Parker #132795885
John's wife on the marker is Glenna B. born Aug. 29, 1929, married Nov. 28, 1890. That is all the info I have.

RE: Fees AND Jordans
I found "cousin" Alma on the 1900 census, age 17 born in CA 1882, with William. the "mother" mentioned on the back of my photo looks like Eliza Sadorus

RE: Fees AND Jordans
Wow, this can get confusing! Where did you see William Francis Jordan named a daughter Alma?
I met Silas Jr, (Uncle Sy, we called him) and Alma spoke about Elias Francis Jordan (Forney)
The photo I have is captioned on the back..."standing left to right, James, Forney, John, Frederick Omego. Seated, Aunt Mary Ann, their Mother and Will (all Jordan's). Either 11 or 12 boys and one girl."

Fees AND Jordans
Hi Dorothy,
I'm responding to an email I just got regarding my Grandmother, Lorraine. Yes, She was married to Clarence Fee. And Clarence's mother, Alma, was a Jordan. I recently bought a picture on Ebay of a few of Alma's uncles!

RE: Cain Line
I am so sorry for just now getting back with you, I just found your message. My email is if you would like to contact me there. I descended from Charles B. Cain, son of John. The Cain line has been a little difficult to trace because of the various spellings but I do have some information and am always looking for new - and, I don't mind sharing what I've found.
