Balfour follow-up
Hi Tina,
I promise this is the last e-mail. I neglected in the previous e-mail to give you the section and row numbers for the Balfours. Here they are (Section-row-lot):
Gabriel 2-8-20 W 1/2
George 2-12-27 E 1/2
James 3-30-103 E 1/2
Walter 2-12-27 E 1/2

All the best and I hope I didn't pester you too much,

Balfour locations
Hi Tina,
I just sent you a couple of corrections but rather than bomb your e-mail with more I thought I'd simply send you one message. As I stated, I recently purchased transcriptions for both Emily Presbyterian Cemetery and Emily Cemetery because I wanted to figure out where my family members are located and it is pretty confusing with such similar names. Anyways, I've decided to check all the burials that are already in find a grave so that everyone can be in the right spot. According to the transcripts, all but Mary Balfour (who I could not find in either cemetery transcript) are in Emily Cemetery. Right now you have them in Emily Presbyterian. The transcript also gives their plot numbers in Emily Cemetery so here they are for your records:
Gabriel Lot 20 W 1/2
George Lot 27 E 1/2
James Lot 103 E 1/2
Mary - unable to find
Walter Lot 27 E 1/2

Hope this helps,

Italian Cemetery
You may not have noticed I am not the person who made the memorials in the Italian Cemetery. I recently received almost 45,000 abandoned memorials to work on and I am deleting that message as I go.

I would never hold information hostage waiting for someone to come begging for me to put it on the memorial. I always add anything I find, hoping it will help the family in their search for relatives.

I will work on the Cimas today and see what I can find. If there are any more memorials I have that you want to send me additional info. for, you can always send me a SAC.

Best wishes, Samantha :)

RE: Erica Cima

The marker only mentions Pietro. However, the cemetery app/electronic data is clear that both are buried at the same site.

Usually it is the second family member who is left off a memorial. (I have a family member at Mountainview where the wife died 50 years later, and was buried at the same site, but her sons failed to get the grave marker changed.)

It left me wondering if perhaps the cemetery app/electronic record is incorrect and she is, in fact, buried elsewhere. Mountainview has more than 100,000 graves and I myself have found numerous errors in the electronic data. I guess that is just part of interpreting all of the handwritten records.

The best way to determine that is to email Mountainview, mention that only Pietro Cima is on the grave marker and ask if Erica Cima is in fact at the same grave. Their email is and I have found them to be responsive.

If you get an answer, please let me know, and when there's an opportunity I will try to get a photo of another grave site -- assuming there is one. Take care.

Frances & Louis Cima
I took the photos today but the shadows in the outdoor crypts were so distracting that I didn't realize how bad until I uploaded them to my computer. Just wanted to let you know I didn't forget your request ... I'll get 'em later this coming week.

Maria Cima
Hi Tina,
Maria is buried with Olinto ... if you put in a request for her photo, I'll be able to upload it to her memorial page when I go back to Holy Cross this week.

Balfours Mount Pleasant Edmonton
Hi Tina

Welcome to Find a Grave!

Thank you for passing the orbituaries along. I have added them and also photos of their markers.
Are you related ? Is the Balfour you added in Ontario related to Ernest? If so we could "link" them as I have done for Anne and Ernest
