Mary Whitton (New Castle, ID)
Todd,

Thank you so much for getting the pictures of the headstones for my Aunt, Mary Whitton. I am planning a trip to New Castle in July and am going to go to the cemetary myself and see if there are more family members that I am unaware of. I have only been in the cemetary to attend funerals and I am so looking forward to visiting! New Castle is my Mom's hometown, although we were raised in Georgia and my Mom and Dad are both buried in Georgia. I have a zillion relatives who live in New Castle and even as a child, I was fascinated with their cemetary! I always loved how the sun cast a light on the headstones in the early evening when you traveled down the hwy. Thank you again, my friend!

RE: Margaret Wallace
Thanks for your offer. I'd love a photo of the site. Is she buried near her husband? It seems odd that she doesn't have a stone.

I don't know much about her. She was the 2nd wife of my great-grandmother's brother.

I found her in the 1930 census, born about 1880, as Margaret Wallace.

I found 1920 census, born about 1880, as Kathryn M. Wallace. Of course, that could also be a different person, making her a third wife.

I haven't come across any children.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look for her marked grave. It is too bad that it is unmarked. Your efforts are deeply appreciated!

RE: Pearl Wilson
I can't find any relationship, but am curious since I am related to all Hamms in northeastern Kentucky. Can you give me a little more information via a message to my email account. Thanks.
