I have been involved in family research since 1995 and enjoy it very much.|
There is a lot of work involved in adding Memorials to Find A Grave. I now can really appreciate all the effort of others in adding many of my family members.
I will be happy to transfer a memorial to a family member closer in relationship than I am. First, you need to join Find A Grave, but that is free and quite simple to do. Then contact me, using the edit tab in the upper right of a particular memorial; and then under "suggest a correction" ask for the transfer of the memorial and please include how you are related. (You may add photos and scanned birth/marriage/death certificates without being manager.)
I am related to all the Gilstraps (and the only Gravley) in the Smith Chapel Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery, but I do not know the family relationships of others buried there, so I need to hear that from you or transfer management to you, as a close relative.
Once I transfer to you, then as manager you can make corrections (dates, spelling of name, etc.) and also link your family members together.
Family names I am researching in Old Pendleton District, SC, include Gravley, Cooper, Gilstrap, Maxwell, Morgan, Nix, Murphree, Galloway, Patterson, Gillespie, Cisson, Aiken, Clayton, Porter, Smith; my Transylvania County, NC, families include Glazner, and Owen, in addition to Gravley, Gillespie, Galloway, Patterson, Aiken.
I am a retired teacher, have many friends and relatives scattered throughout the U.S., and love to travel and visit them, so please be patient if I do not respond immediately.
You may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

I will pull her obit the next time I go to the Greenville Library (next week sometime), I found her obit index online where it gave her full name. I'll send you the info I get off the obit and then we will know who her second husband was.
thanks again, have a blessed Easter!
Deleted the duplicate. Please let me know when the photo is added so i can update if needed.
Many thanks, Eliz
Deleted the duplicate and transferred info to the other. Please let me know when the photo of the marker is added so i can update if needed.

You're very welcome, and if I have anymore of your family members just let me know. I'll be happy to transfer them.
|Janie Elms Matthews||RE: Bauknight|
Janice Matthews Tate passed away unexpectedly in 2000 at 61. Both she and my husband enjoyed visiting their grandparents in Easley, and they sometimes took the train by themselves to get there. I didn't know LM Bauknight, but Annie (his grandmother) was a delightful person.
